My oldest son, Dr. X, is 12. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of 3. He LOVES cats and geography. He is NOT a big fan of Math. I am so proud of the young man that he is becoming. To know him is to love him!
Our ferocious feline, Storm, may appear to be laid back and lazy. But don't let that fool you. She's like a panther just waiting to attack. Bad guys don't stand a chance with her around ...as long as she's not in the middle of a nap, that is.
Thunder is our lookout. He guards our lair and alerts us of any danger that approaches (or cats, or cars, or pretty much anything).
Our lives are anything but ordinary and I love every second of it! Who needs ordinary when you can have extraordinary?! God has been so good to us! He has blessed us in more ways than I can count! I am so thankful that he has entrusted me, out of all of the mamas in the world, to care for these beautiful boys! As I continue to teach them and guide them I am amazed at how much they actually teach me. I have created this blog because I would like to share some of our trials and triumphs in the hope that our experiences may inspire others and help those who might be facing similar situations.
